Canadian preschool theater program Toons for Toddlers and HIT Entertainment will be rolling out 60-minute special Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails in 19 locations across Canada between August 29 and 30.
Canuck cities hosting the toddler-friendly 10:30 a.m. screenings of the Thomas flick include Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Toronto. In this adventure, kids will get to hear the voice of Thomas and pals for the first time, including three new characters.
Toons for Toddlers, meanwhile, launched in March 2009 and has expanded from 15 to 20 partner locations for its monthly program, which so far has showcased series from Ragdoll and National Geographic Kids.
