Following the box office success of its first 3-D feature Monsters VS. Aliens, DreamWorks Animation is bringing the battle into family living rooms with a range of home entertainment offerings on September 29.

The Ginormous Double DVD Pack and Blu-ray (anticipated retail price of under US$25) features the debut of B.O.B.’S BIG BREAK, a new 3-D adventure starring the film’s gelatinous hero. Both packs come with four pair of 3-D glasses and include a new interactive 3-D game, three music videos, deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, filmmaker commentary and several activities, such as the Creature Feature Fun Factory.

The film also will be available on a single-disc DVD, and the releases will be backed by a major marketing program that includes an extensive advertising campaign on national TV, print and online media outlets. Also, there are promo alliances lined up with a range of companies including Carl’s Jr. and Hardees restaurants, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Energizer, Hostess Snack Cakes, Litehouse, Tyson Foods and Wrigley.
