Sesame Workshop’s VP & general counsel Myung Kang-Huneke has been appointed to the oversight council of the Toy Safety Certification Programs run by industry org Toy Industry Association.
The council keeps tabs on the program that helps verify that toys going into the US market comply with all relevant safety standards and regulations and is comprised of 11 members. The members monitor the development, implementation and effectiveness of TSCP, propose program changes to increase value to stakeholders and review and adopt reasonable recommended changes in the program relating to technical considerations.
