Okay, kids, here’s how this week’s Soapbox is going to work: I want to invite everyone who was at KidScreen to leave a comment and let us know one thing you really liked about the Summit and one thing you think could have been better. It can be something big, like the fact that KidScreen has clearly become a marketplace. Or it can be something small, like the fact that it was hard to find your 10:30 meeting with the guy from Mumbai in the delegate lounge. Either way, I encourage you all to be very candid!

I’ll go first.

My favorite thing about the Summit was the friendliness and the utter lack of pretentiousness of the delegates, the speakers and the staff. It reminded me of just how lucky I am to work in an area of show business that does not take itself too seriously and treats everyone with real respect.

I wasn’t crazy about the band that played on Friday morning in the hallway outside the delegates lounge. The volume was way too loud and therefore the girls’ voices and their instruments were distorted and rather unpleasant!

Okay, your turn!
