Three Disney and Disney/Pixar properties will be getting the Lego treatment, thanks to a multi-year licensing deal that grants the construction toy company access to develop product for Toy Story, Cars and Prince of Persia.

Toy Story-themed construction sets for Lego Duplo and Lego System platforms will launch in January 2010 for kids age two to 12. Lego System products based on the first two Toy Story films will also launch at that time and will be followed in May with construction sets based on Toy Story 3, slated to hit the big screen in Disney Digital 3-D in June 2010.

Young fans of Lightning McQueen will be able build the Cars world with a new Duplo set, featuring scenes and characters from the movie, also launching at retail in June 2010.

And with the video game-based Prince of Persia: Sands of Time slated for a May 2010 theater release, Lego is on board to release themed product in April of that year.
