Following the December departure of Rick Richter, Simon & Schuster has tapped Jon Anderson to fill the vacant EVP and publisher position for its Children’s Publishing division, effective January 21.
Anderson comes to S&S from Running Press Book Publishers, where he served as president and publisher for four years. During his time there, Anderson led the company to increased revenue and profit growth, as well as expanding its children’s program to include middle grade and young adult fiction. He also developed a program for licenses including Hello Kitty and Peanuts.
