UK-based social networking site Bebo has committed to a minimum of six original productions for 2009 under a newly created program banner, Bebo Originals.
The site (www.bebo.com) is developing a commissioning and scheduling policy for 2009 that will encompass entertainment, reality and comedy.
Founded in 2005 as an online community, Bebo has a membership of more than 45 million individuals worldwide and is geared towards an audience under age 30, with core users between 16 and 24 years olds spending 2.14 billion minutes on the site per month.
