Galleon Holdings has signed a co-pro deal with Malaysian prodco Nafalia Corporation to launch a localized version of Super Soccer Star on prime-time television.

The series will air on government-owned broadcaster Radio Television Malaysia starting in January.

Galleon plans to work with Nafalia and RTM to produce 13 eps, as well as organizing online recruitment and a co-sponsorship with The Malaysia Football Association.

Super Soccer Star is an interactive family-oriented talent show to find the next teen football star. The winner gets to train at Chelsea’s Football Academy.
