Cabbage Patch Kids head into the next quarter century

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cabbage Patch Kids, Play Along, a division of Jakks Pacific, will release exact replicas of the original doll line.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cabbage Patch Kids, Play Along, a division of Jakks Pacific, will release exact replicas of the original doll line.

The celebration started earlier this week at the Toys ‘R’ Us Times Square location where partygoers had a chance to meet Cabbage Patch creator Xavier Roberts. In the Minneapolis area, fans joined Babytalk magazine at the Mall of America for day long activity-filled birthday party.

On September 20, the entire town of Cleveland, Georgia, birthplace of the Cabbage Patch Kids, will host the 30th anniversary of BabyLand General Hospital, home of the Cabbage Patch Kids.

Activities at BabyLand General Hospital include free birthday cake and punch, free goody bags, and rides and activities for children.
