Paris, France-based Mediatoon is toting the first eps of new Dargaud Media CGI-animated The Garfield Show series, based on the pasta-loving feline of comic strip fame, to MIPCOM next month.

Creator Jim Davis is serving as executive producer for the 52 x 11-minute HD series.

The Garfield Show is slated for broadcast in 2009 on France 3 and Cartoon Network Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
