Corus Entertainment, Tricon Films & Television and Universal Music Canada have signed Faber Drive and Suzie McNeil to perform at The Next Star season finale, being broadcast live from Toronto -based themepark Canada's Wonderland on Sunday, September 28 at 7 p.m. on YTV. Along with the headline performances, the one-hour finale for the reality show will also feature the top-six contestants singing their own single.

Raggs, the canine preschool rock 'n roll band, is making an appearance this coming weekend on the Jerry Lewis' Annual MDA Telethon, the 21½-hour variety show that raises funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This year's event will be broadcast live August 31 to September 2 on 180 stations throughout the US.
