Nickelodeon and National Amusements are launching Nick Jr. at the Movies today in 36 theaters across the US.
The program is aimed at preschoolers and offers eps of Go, Diego, Go!, Dora the Explorer and The Backyardigans reformatted for the big screen.
The program will run in National Amusement theaters in California; Connecticut; Iowa; Kentucky; Massachusetts; Michigan; New Jersey; New York; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; and Virginia. The 50-minute program is scheduled to hit screens Thursday and Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. and feature two episodes of Nick Jr. shows. Eight different programs will be introduced in 2008 with more coming in 2009. Tickets are US$6.00 per person.
