United Media has picked up graphic novel property Babymouse from creators Jennifer L. Holm and Matthew Holm.

UM will assume agency representation for Babymouse and work with the creators to develop a comprehensive merch program in the US and Canada. Licensing will target six- to 11-year-old girls, with the initial focus on landing apparel, accessories, stationery, gift, back-to-school, interactive, toy and craft licensees.

Random House Children’s Books currently has eight Babymouse graphic novels in the US market and plans to release two additional titles per year moving forward.
