Xilam looks East for a slew of sales

Paris-based Xilam’s Oggy and The Coackroaches has attracted a slate of new deals throughout Eastern Europe.

On the TV front, LNK TV (Lithuania) has acquired the first three seasons of the 200 x seven-minute slapstick comedy series and VGTRK in Russia has picked up seasons two and three.

Also in Russia, CD Land has acquired the video rights for the first three seasons and North Video (Czech Republic and Slovakia) secured the rights for season one of the series.

Beyond the roaches, Xilam has licensed A Kind of Magic, a 26 x half-hour series, to Disney Poland and Disney Serbia. As well, video rights to Shuriken School have been picked up by Kartunz (Poland) and Millenium Trading (Romania).
