• Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group‘s AddictingGames will honor the games industry’s best with the first-ever multiplatform awards show exclusively for online games. The Most AddictingGames Awards (working title) will bow summer 2009 online and on-air.
• Disney Channel stars, including Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Bros. and Ashley Tisdale are joining Muppets Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Fozzie Bear in Studio DC: Almost Live – a music-filled, half hour sketch comedy show slated to premiere Sunday, August 3 at 8:00 p.m. in the US.
• New York City-based Zoo Games is producing two Wii games based on classic fairy tales under its Story Hour brand. Fairy Tales and Adventures feature games based on Cinderella, Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk and Paul Bunyan and should hit US retail shelves in October.
