People moves: HIT appoints former BBC exec to new directorship

HIT Entertainment has appointed BBC exec Chris Rose to the newly created role of programming and development director.

HIT Entertainment has appointed BBC exec Chris Rose to the newly created role of programming and development director.

Rose will be responsible for overseeing the development and new content slate for HIT’s television properties and the company’s recent acquisitions.

With more than 10 years experience in the broadcasting industry, Rose started his career as a radio presenter on local radio stations. Most recently, he worked in acquisitions for BBC’s two dedicated children’s channels, CBBC and CBeebies.
