The launch of Nick Arabia on Wednesday marks a milestone for the kidcaster as its 50th channel.

Nickelodeon Arabia is dedicated to exclusively to the two to 14 demo and has a home on free-to-air nets Arabsat and Nilesat, reaching a potential audience of 190 million across the Middle East.

The net plans to air original Arabic-language productions at launch, including UGC-influenced Shoof Kidshosted by a seven-year-old and Jumetna, a programming block with interactive games.

Of course, the net is also showcasing well-known Nick series like SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.

Additionally, a dedicated website (www.nickarabia.net) is rolling out in both Arabic and English.
