Cartoon Network Enterprises is looking for a slam dunk as it pairs up with the National Basketball Association to create a joint consumer products and promotional campaign around Ben 10: Alien Force.

The new co-branded youth apparel line will integrate the series’ characters with NBA league and team logos and mascots and is slated to make its debut during the 2009 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix in February ’09.

A line of long- and short-sleeved t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies will be rolled out through the NBA Store in New York City as well as online at NBAStore.com and CartoonNetworkShop.com, and will then expand into additional locations.

The co-branded launch is being supported by a combined marketing effort, taking advantage of the existing relationship between Cartoon Network’s parent company Turner Broadcasting and the National Basketball Association.
