London-based Parthenon Entertainment has joined NDR Naturfilm to finance and distribute two feature wildlife films aimed at the family market.
The first venture is Knut and his Friends, produced by DocFilm, and based on the iconic star of the Berlin Zoo and the most popular polar bear in the world, Knut. The film follows the lives of other bears in the wild, including a mama polar bear and her three cubs living in northern Canada.
The second feature Serengeti, is a documentary that tracks a diverse group of wildlife through the African ecosystem.
