On the heels of announcing re-ups of Decode’s Franny’s Feet and Amberwood’s The Secret World of Benjamin Bear, Playhouse Disney Canada is on the hunt for additional local prodcos to create new programming aimed at preschoolers.

The Astral Media net has a US$1 million pot for new series’ development, aka Playhouse Disney Development Fund, which will be allocated over a four-year period.

The newly developed programming will be included in the Canadian Playhouse Disney programming slate in future seasons.
