Disney’s Camp Rock debuted as Disney Channel’s second-highest rating original movie of all-time with 8.9 million viewers on it June 20 debut.
The movie ranked second behind mega-hit High School Musical 2 and opened as the net’s number-one non-sequel Disney Channel original movie of all-time in total viewers, besting the premiere telecast of High School Musical.
The telecast topped runner-up network CBS by more than 3.0 million for the timeslot, ranking number-one amongst kids six to 11 (3.5 million) and tweens nine to 14 (3.4 million).
Camp Rock will start streaming on Disney.com in the US today.
