Cookie Jar Entertainment is bringing its Magi-Nation property to the world of trading card games with 3 Point Entertainment.
The trading card game, set for release this fall 2008, gives players the opportunity to assume the role of their favourite Magi. The Magi-Nation Trading Card Game will include starter decks and booster pack SKUs at launch.
The series Magi-Nation began airing on CBC in Canada and States-side on Kids’ WB! (now TheCW4Kids) in September 2007.
A full consumer products line, the final component to Cookie Jar’s multi-platform brand plan, will feature DVDs and a video game, in addition to the trading card game. NCircle Entertainment has signed on to be the US home video distributor for the TV series, with the first two releases set for September 2008.
