• BabyFirstTV, the US-based 24/7 channel for babies and toddlers, has signed a carriage agreement with Time Warner Cable. BabyFirstTV now has carriage agreements with DirecTV, Dish Network, Comcast, Charter and AT&T in the US, representing 80% of the US market.
• Canada’s Teletoon has launched its annual Teletoon Animation Scholarship that will award cash prizes to nine students in three categories. Over the past 10 years, the net has awarded more than US$290,000 to 107 students across Canada. Deadline for submissions is June 13, 2008.
