France 5 acquires Zigby

French broadcaster France 5 has acquired free-TV rights to the CGI preschool series Zigby from EM.Entertainment GmbH.

French broadcaster France 5 has acquired free-TV rights to the CGI preschool series Zigby from EM.Entertainment GmbH.

The pubcaster has secured broadcast rights to the 52 x 11-minute series in France, the French Overseas Departments and Territories, Monaco and Andorra.

Zibgy is based on HarperCollins Children’s Books popular literary character Zigby, a zebra who always trots into trouble.

The series is produced by Australia’s Avrill Stark Entertainment, Zebra Productions and Big Animation Pte in association with ABC (Australia) and Canada’s Treehouse.

The series will be delivered in September.
