• Family Biz, a new half-hour series for tweens and their families, began principal photography in Ottawa, Canada yesterday. An international co-pro between Canada’s Muse Entertainment, Summit Crescent Productions and France’s Breakout Films, the series will air on YTV in Canada, and on France 2 and Canal + Famille in France.
• Les Stroud, 9 Story Entertainment and YTV are hunting for six brave souls for the new series Survivorman Kids. With Stroud as their mentor, the kids will be taken into the wilderness and presented with different survival challenges, testing their skill, wit and determination. • My Gym at Home a children’s fitness series created expressly for babies, toddlers (and their parents), won a Gold Camera Award for Children’s Programming Production. The series airs on BabyFirstTV, the 24/7 commercial-free educational channel for babies, toddlers and their parents.
• Baby Genius: Baby Animals Favorite Sing-A-Longs, the latest DVD from Baby Genius was awarded a 2008 iParenting Excellent Products award in the Home Video/DVD category.
