Chorion partners with Ty’s Toy Box and Applebee’s

It's been a busy few days for IP house Chorion in the US. The company has partnered with the web retailer Ty's Toy Box to create an online shops for its host of characters and has announced promo plans for The World of Eric Carle at restaurant chain Applebee's.

It’s been a busy few days for IP house Chorion in the US. The company has partnered with the web retailer Ty’s Toy Box to create an online shops for its host of characters and has announced promo plans for The World of Eric Carle at restaurant chain Applebee’s.

Ty’s will be launching individual e-tail sites for properties culled from Chorion’s portfolio. Right now the Mr. Men and Noddy sites are live, with The World of Eric Carle slated to go up later this summer to tie-in with a back-to-school campaign.

Earlier this month, TysToyBox.com and AllAboardToys.com merged, creating the largest independent online retailer specializing in licensed merch.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar Restaurants, meanwhile, will feature The World of Eric Carle in an eight-page themed Kids Menu activity booklet the chain’s 1,800 locations nationwide. The promo runs from June 30 right through to Labor Day, and involves the distribution of more than five million booklets.
