Imira continues to build Lola & Virginia momentum

Barcelona, Spain-based Imira Entertainment has signed a number of new deals to extend the global reach of its girl-skewing Lola & Virginia property.

Barcelona, Spain-based Imira Entertainment has signed a number of new deals to extend the global reach of its girl-skewing Lola & Virginia property.

Lola & Virginia is set to air daily on RAI 2 starting in September and the channel’s commercial arm RAI Trade has picked up merchandising rights for Italy. Italian publisher Panini, meanwhile, is set to launch a Lola & Virginia sticker stack book, story albums, puzzles and coloring books in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Brazil. A Nintendo DS game is also in development.

The show has also been sold into more than 90 territories to broadcasters, including RTVE, France 3, RTP, Nickelodeon (Latin America, Asia and France) and the Disney Channel (Spain and Italy).
