Nickelodeon is gearing up to say ‘dzien dobry’ when it launches in Poland on June 1 via cable and digital outlets in the country.

The localized channel will target viewers two to 12 and will include a mix of international content from Nickelodeon’s animation portfolio such as Dora The Explorer, Blue’s Clues and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Nickelodeon Poland will also air original local productions and acquisitions in Polish and be supported by a Polish-language, rich media website www.nick.com.pl. The site will provide users with an online community and interactive elements, such as a video player, games and downloads.

MTVNI’s Emerging Markets group manages 23 television channels, 21 websites, two broadband channels and three mobile TV channels encompassing the MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, VIVA and Comedy Central brands in Russia, Central & Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.
