The plan for the 2008/09 season is to roll out more than 445 hours of new programming across the Playhouse Disney, Disney Channel and Toon Disney/Jetix networks, including three new original movies Princess Protection Program, Dadnapped and Hatching Pete.

Also announced were the third season of ratings champ Hannah Montana and the second seasons for series Wizards of Waverly Place and the animated comedy Phineas and Ferb.

Disney has come on strong in the past two years and in 2007 ranked as the number-one basic cable network in primetime among total viewers, scoring 2.69 million sets of eyeballs.
