Charlie and Lola to get toy treatment

Tiger Aspect’s Charlie and Lola, currently airing on Playhouse Disney in the US, has a new toy licensee in East Windsor, New Jersey-based Kids Preferred.

A new range of series-inspired plush dolls will join Penguin’s new paperback books on US retail shelves later this summer. The new merch includes:

Giggling Charlie and Giggling Lola doll (US$10); Talking Poseable Charlie and Lola Play Set (US$25); Sizzles the Dog (US$10), the floppy, lovable beanbag toy that loves to play with Lola; and a dressable Lola Doll Case (US$28).

BBC Worldwide handles intertnational licensing and distribution for Charlie and Lola and International Licensing BBC Worldwide brokered the deal.
