Toronto, Canada-based Portfolio Entertainment has sealed new sales deals for six children’s series at MIPTV taking place in Cannes this week.

Ares Media in Turkey has renewed the pay-TV rights for the second season of Spellz, a mystery series.

Samanyolu TV in Turkey has acquired the free-TV rights for 100 half-hour eps of The Big Comfy Couch and 26, 15-minute eps of Panda Bear Daycare.

Sun Media in Korea has scored both cable and satellite TV rights for all 26 half-hour eps of Workforce. And Jim Jam, a division of Chellomedia UK, has picked up the pay-TV rights for 26 half-hours of Igloo-Gloo for EMEA territories.

And finally, RTM in Malaysia has snapped up the free-TV rights for all 26 half-hour eps of Heads Up!, an astronomy series that takes children and tween viewers beyond the basics of the Big Dipper and the Moon.
