Looking to boost export revenues, BBC Worldwide America has aligned its US TV sales and co-production division more closely with its content and production arm to facilitate sales activity and create more opportunities for partnerships with US broadcasters.

As part of the restructure, Paul Telegdy has been named EVP of TV sales and content & production, and Beeb exec Susanna Pollack comes back to the coop as SVP of TV sales, co-productions and children’s.

Telegdy will continue to lead BBC Worldwide’s US content and production team, while Pollack spearheads sales activity across all genres, jointly reporting to Telegdy and BBC Worldwide Children’s head Gill Pritchard. She will also work on growing the presence of BBC Worldwide’s kids brands in the US, building on a legacy of successful transplants such as Charlie & Lola (Disney) and The Secret Show (Nicktoons).

For the past two years, Pollack has managed the global television, home entertainment and licensing businesses for children’s entertainment company Star Farm Productions.
