Germany’s BKN New Media keeps inking deals for animated kids comedy Dork Hunters from Outer Space. The company has closed a number of new terrestrial deals for the 36 x 22-minute series and has confirmed a fall 2008 launch with GMTV (UK), Network Ten (Australia), SABC (South Africa) and CTC (Russia).

Broadcast partners will support the simultaneous rollout of Character Option’s Dork Hunter toy line at retail, with Australia’s Ten planning two promotional campaigns and competitions involving its SD and HD channels.

Anticipating that the CTC sale will go a long way towards building a strong market for the property in Central and Eastern Europe, BKN New Media has appointed Kidz Entertainment as its licensing agent in these territories.
