Target signs deal with Initial Kids

Target Entertainment has inked a global distribution deal with Initial Kids, a subsidiary of Endemol UK, for its children's output, which includes the format rights to factual series Smokehouse, and distribution of the live-action comedy series Emu.

Target Entertainment has inked a global distribution deal with Initial Kids, a subsidiary of Endemol UK, for its children’s output, which includes the format rights to factual series Smokehouse, and distribution of the live-action comedy series Emu.

Smokehouse follows six kids who encourage their parents to give up smoking and has an initial broadcast deal with be CBBC. Emu, meanwhile, is a slapstick comedy series that centers around Emu’s owners hiding the pet from their new landlords.

The series is currently in its second season on CITV.
