Penguin Young Readers Group and kidthing have teamed up to create the first-ever direct to consumer digital versions of The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper and other classics.

Penguin Young Readers Group and kidthing, a web 2.0 global learning platform for children, parents, teachers and families, has announced a content distribution partnership to bring enhanced digital versions of Penguin’s classic children’s books to its platform.

The new products, including Corduroy, The Hat and Nana Upstairs and Nana Downstairs,will be available in the kidthing online store at the beginning of April with additional titles to follow.

The kidthing store opened during the first week of March and has since acquired 10,000 online registered users.
