Turner Broadcasting has announced a seven-figure re-commission of the UK live-action comedy series My Spy Family. Filming starts up again in July.

Targeted at a kids six to 12 demo and set to air on Boomerang, the second round of 20 x 22-minute eps continues the co-pro partnership between Turner Broadcasting and Kindle Entertainment, an indie which rose out of the ashes of ITV Productions, Kids.

Decode Enterprises has retained the distribution rights for the series.

My Spy Family centers around the Bannon family who, after a lifetime of roaming international trouble spots by jet, helicopter and missile-equipped sports cars, now find themselves squashed together in a house somewhere in the Midlands.
