• Spin Master is readying toys based on New York, City-based Animation Collective’s Thumb Wrestling Federation for launch at Toys ‘R’ Us stateside. The TWF Match Pack includes two TWF thumb wrestling masks and two wrestler stat cards. The packs can be found nationwide exclusively at TRU’s 600 US outlets.
• Blue, the beloved puppy from the Nickelodeon preschool series Blue’s Clues and Hello Kitty made paparazzi history this past Saturday, March 8th when Sanrio’s New York Times Square flagship store hosted a special event to celebrate the co-licensing deal between Nickelodeon and Sanrio. Both Hello Kitty and Blue’s Clues costumed characters met with fans and were available for photos, as the store unveiled a specially designed product line created specifically for tweens and young adults.
• New York City-based Every Baby Company, creators of eebee’s adventures, has signed a deal with Compass Production to create a customized developmental play DVD for Parents Magazine licensed brand. The eebee’s adventures: Developmental Play For You And BabyDVD (US$12.99) hits US mass retailer Target nationwide next Monday and features an exclusive collection of learning games, original songs and games.
