People moves: LazyTown adds two execs

Reykjavik, Iceland-based LazyTown has bolstered its exec ranks with two new hires.
Haukur Gislason, formerly regional director for the Nordic Territories, has taken on the position of head of TV sales and media, making him the first point of contact for all broadcast partners and new media prospects.

Reykjavik, Iceland-based LazyTown has bolstered its exec ranks with two new hires.

Haukur Gislason, formerly regional director for the Nordic Territories, has taken on the position of head of TV sales and media, making him the first point of contact for all broadcast partners and new media prospects. He has been with LazyTown since 2004, and will be at MIPTV 2008 along with reps from LazyTown’s London’s office.

Additionally, Guðmundur Magnason joins LazyTown from US company Theater Mogul, which specializes in licensing of theatrical properties worldwide.

Magnason has been named to the position of MD of international brand and licensing. He will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities and strategy and continuing to build LazyTown’s licensing program.
