People moves: New SVP and GM at Radio Disney

Michael G. Riley has been named SVP and GM of Radio Disney.

Michael G. Riley has been named SVP and GM of Radio Disney.

He joins the company after serving 10 years at Turner Broadcasting Systems, where he worked across multiple European markets on both entertainment and news brands.

The new appointment is effective as of April 1, when he will succeed longtime Disney exec Jill Casagrande.

Riley will be responsible for strategic management of the network and its portfolio of 42 radio stations. The Radio Disney programming, distribution, online and marketing departments will all report to him.

Radio Disney reaches 97% of the US market and offers 24-hour kid-friendly music from a variety of record labels.
