Mandalay Media has named Bruce Stein, founder and ex co-CEO of prodco The Hatchery, as its new CEO.
Stein played a key role in Mandalay Media’s recent acquisition of Twistbox Entertainment, a mobile content and casual game distribution company. Twistbox is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mandalay Media, and Stein will now oversee the whole lot.
Stein brings marketing, operational and corporate strategy expertise gained in past jobs as at toyco Mattel, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kenner Products. Most recently he was founder and co-CEO of The Hatchery, a company specializing in IP development and entertainment production of kids and family franchises.
