People moves: MTVN Latin America names new SVP

MTV Networks Latin America has promoted Paula Guerra to the post of SVP and MD of MTV Networks Argentina as part of the company's regionalization strategy in Latin America.

MTV Networks Latin America has promoted Paula Guerra to the post of SVP and MD of MTV Networks Argentina as part of the company’s regionalization strategy in Latin America.

In the newly created role, Guerra will be responsible for all of MTVN Latin American’s service departments in its Buenos Aires headquarters. These departments include: on-air, traffic, customizations, operations, legal communications, some aspects of production management, Finance, Research, Adminstration, IT and tech operations, as well as programming and production services originating in Buenos Aires.

In addition, Guerra will continue supervising and coordinating business and creative strategies for MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon to carry out the needs of the company’s local audience, as well as its commercial partners in the Southern region of Latin America.

Under the current structure, all of these areas will report into supervisors in Miami and Argentina, while Guerra will report to president of MTV Networks Latin America, Pierluigi Gazzolo.
