Four new half-hour eps of preschool series Ni Hao,Kai-lan will premiere on Monday, March 24 at 11 a.m. through Thursday, March 27, culminating with a marathon on Friday, March 28.
The series was developed to introduce preschoolers to Chinese culture and language and uses Mandarin words and phrases – a first for US kids TV.
Ni Hao, Kai-lan is also Nick Jr.’s first play-along, think-along series to feature an intergenerational family.
Created by Karen Chau and executive produced by Mary Harrington, the series’ animation is being done in conjunction with Wang Films and the Wang Studio in Greater China.
