People moves Warner Bros. CP appoints MD for Oz and NZ

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has appointed Preston Kevin Lewis as its new MD for Australia and New Zealand.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has appointed Preston Kevin Lewis as its new MD for Australia and New Zealand.

Lewis will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the outfit, overseeing all sales, marketing, retail, promotions and licensing activity in Australia and New Zealand.

The appointment comes amidst Warner Bros. Consumer Products growth in its international business with properties Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo and Superman leading the way, as well as new upcoming theatrical releases, including Speed Racer and The Dark Knight bowing this year.

Lewis joined the company in June 2006 as VP of international licensing and began working on plans for the Australia/New Zealand business later that year. Prior to that, Lewis held a variety of positions with major multi-national entertainment companies, including Disney Consumer Products, MTV Program Enterprises and HBO Home Video.
