People moves: Haydenburri Lane hires new VP of creative

Oakland, California-based branded children's product and multi-media company Haydenburri Lane has hired Jeanne Smith as its new VP of creative.

Oakland, California-based branded children’s product and multi-media company Haydenburri Lane has hired Jeanne Smith as its new VP of creative.

The position was specifically created for Smith to utilize her talents as an innovator, creator, developer, director, and musician.

Smith joins Haydenburri Lane from Beati Productions. At Beati she was the link between creator and the animation house, and her role included approval of all animation, script development, music and voice talent.

Current products for the company include six new books to be released in 2008, Light-Up Safari slippers, and other merchandise based on the Bedtime Safari characters. Products will soon be available at Costco, Sam’s Club and other retailers throughout the US.
