Classic Media, an ER Group subsidiary, and Heat Licensing have signed a deal with Madame Alexander Doll Company to create a new Gumby-themed model of MA’s Maggie doll.

The 8-inch Maggie is going green, as in, green like Gumby. The Maggie Loves Gumby doll has brown eyes and a red hair held back by a yellow headband, and sports a green A-line dress featuring Gumby. Her red shoes and white socks complete the ensemble. Each collectible doll includes a 3-inch Gumby bendable figure from licensee NJ Croce.

The Maggie Loves Gumby doll was unveiled at Toy Fair 2008 in New York City and will roll out to major retailers and specialty stores throughout North America in May 2008.
