Scholastic licenses Sammy’s Story Shop to qubo

New York City-based qubo has picked up new Scholastic series Sammy’s Story Shop.

The anthology series produced by criticallyacclaimed Weston Woods Studio, boasts a vast library of animated video adaptations of classic children’s books.

The TV and online entertainment service has licensed 26 eps of the series to begin airing on the qubo digital channel in Q2 and includes titles such as Snowy Day, Make Way for Ducklings and Harold and the Purple Crayon.

The qubo Channel is broadcast in both English and Spanish and is available in all markets served by an ION Television station, as well as via Verizon’s FIOS TV, AT&T’s U-Verse, Mediacom and Comcast.
