Seattle, Washington-based Comcast subsidiary thePlatform will now begin to deliver broadband video for Toronto, Canada-based Corus Entertainment’s preschool net Treehouse and kids channel YTV.

On top of managing many aspects of Corus’ online videos, the newly inked deals will allow Corus to use thePlatform’s mpsPresents Player Development Kit to develop and deploy custom Flash-based players on its entertainment portals. According to the company, Corus’ premium videos are now generating more than four million views per month online.

In addition to Corus, thePlatform currently provides online video publishing and management for a host of well known consumer brands including BBC, CNBC, HIT Entertainment and PBS KIDS Sprout.
