Sydney, Australia-based ABC TV is going to be spending a little time In the Night Garden after picking up the popular 50 x half-hour preschool live actioner.

Ragdoll’s series, originally produced for CBeebies, is being distributed by BBC Worldwide Australasia, which brokered the new broadcast deal.

A BAFTA award winner, In the Night Garden features narration by famed Brit actor Sir Derek Jacobi and characters such as Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle and has pulled strong ratings since it debuted in 2007

ABC TV has also licensed the accompanying web content for the property which includes age-appropriate puzzles and games.
