Toronto, Canada-based Portfolio Entertainment’s clone-themed animated comedy series Carl2 has been renewed for additional seasons in Belgium and Israel.
VRT (Belgium) has picked up 26 half hours for broadcast in Dutch-speaking Belgium, while Noga (Israel) has acquired all 13 eps of the series’ season four.
The deals come on the heels of the series scoring six nods at the Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts earlier this year.
Carl2 also airs on HBO (Latin America), Teletoon (Canada), Nickelodeon (Germany), Jetix (Netherlands), ABC (Australia), ABC2 (Australia), RTP (Portugal), KTV (South Africa) and Canal + Cyfrowy (Poland).
