Iceland-based LazyTown is anything but sluggish these days. It’s just announced a slew of new L & M partners and TV deals across the globe.
In Latin America, the property is making a natural move into licensing healthy foods with Gerber Products producing LT jarred food, while Argentina’s Mono Azul is marketing an LT-branded fruit pack. And in Brazil, LT is prepping a DTR apparel line with retailer C&A for this Spring.
Swedish company Froosh, meanwhile, is making fruit smoothies for the Nordic markets under the banner LazyTown Smoothie starting in April, and a deal has been finalized with kidcaster Jetix to air the series in Eastern Europe in the coming months.
Additionally, LazyTown is locked in to sponsor the Sport Relief Early Years kit. The kit will be distributed to 15,000 urseries and preschools across the country and contains tips on how to get active and raise some money for the charity event that’s taking place on March 16 in London.
